Through the sponsorship of FAO SOMALIA, Six staff from the Ministries of Agriculture in Somalia (2 from each region PL. SL, and FGS) graduated today after attending a three months course in Meteorological instruments and methods of observation at the Institute for Meteorological Training and Research (IMTR) in Nairobi.

FAO Somalia, through its project SWALIM continues to scale up the capacity of Somali institutions  to effectively manage the climate monitoring network and provide climate timely services in the country.
