Inter-agency action plan for flood preparedness and response for the Juba and Shabbele rivers in Somalia context analysis
The purpose of this document is to provide a context analysis to support contigency planning required to deal with a humanitarian emergency preparedness precipitated by flooding on the Juba and Shabelle rivers in Somalia. The document is prepared by the Somalia Water and Land Information Management (SWALIM) on behalf of the Flood working Group (FWG) whose mandate is to reduce suffering caused by flood through effective early warning.
